Beautiful Bandit (May 2010) by Loree Lough

Sweetie Loree Lough allowed me to read the first few chapters of her novel coming out in May. Here’s a blurb I wrote up about it.

Loree’s new novel, Beautiful Bandit, shows two people falling in love, except the last thing they wanted was to fall in love . . . with anyone. Josh Neville is passionate about everything, but emotionally wounded after losing his dear wife. Kate Wellington works hard but makes bad decisions. Her latest bad decision has her in the flatlands of Texas, knowing men are dead because of her yet hoping to get into Mexico before she is caught.

Josh and Kate meet in Texas. Will Kate fib her way into getting Josh’s help? Will Josh be able to keep his tender feelings toward Kate at bay? These are the questions I have after reading the first three chapters of Loree’s new novel!!

My two cents on the writing : Loree Lough makes you feel as though you are there as she paints a beautiful picture of barren Texas in the late 1800’s for her new novel Beautiful Bandit. The tension mounts in this romance quickly as prior and new conflicts abound. The instant attraction between Josh and Kate is palpable. Beautiful Bandit is a page turner, one to keep readers up at night!

Thank you for the look-see Loree, can’t wait for the WHOLE book in May!
