Make your own healthy pita chips

Take whole wheat pita bread, slice into “chips”. Separate the layers – placing the textured (inside) facing up onto a baking sheet. Brush lightly with canola or EVO oil. Pop into a 325 degree oven for two minutes. Take out and sprinkle (now that the bread is warm, it’ll accept the salt) lightly with kosher salt. Put back in the oven for about 4 to 8 minutes – until hard but not brown. Enjoy!
