Paint only a small section of wall

Is this possible? YES. You’ll need:

  1. matching wall paint
  2. a small roller and roller pan (Sherwin Williams makes a nice touch up kit)

Repair the wall as needed. On a clean and dry wall, use the small roller dipped in a very small amount of paint. Cover the area with paint and then dry roll  into the surrounding areas, effectively moving all the paint from the roller onto the wall. As long as there is a paint color match, the nap of the touch up roller will match the nap of the original roller used to paint the wall!

What if your wall is faded, what can you do? See my post tomorrow . . .
